3 Tips to Lose Weight as a Midlife Woman
Losing weight as a midlife woman may require a approach because of the metabolism and hormonal functions that are going on. Here are 3 tips to help you with the weight loss.

1.Set realistic goals:
We all want to lose weight and fast but in order to be successful it needs to be gradual and with a plan. Losing 1-2 pound per week is considered a healthy and achievable goal. Remember this is a journey.
2. Control emotional eating:
Emotional Eating can be a challenge for many us midlife women. Finding alternative ways to cope with your emotions is going to be a big help staying consistent. Practice relaxation techniques such as meditation, mindful eating, or affirmations.
3. Manage stress:
I know it’s easier said then done. But if you don’t learn how to manage it, this big hurdle will keep you from reaching your weight loss goal. Techniques like mindfulness, getting in more activities like walking, running , strength training is a great stress reliever.
Remember our midlife body needs a new approach. What we put in the back burner, like exercising, not eating more fiber, or managing stress should now be a priority.
